Privacy policy
Written to be read. If anything here is unclear, ask us and we will explain it.
What we collect
Account details you provide (name, email, phone), the profile information you enter for each candidate, files you upload, messages you send on the platform, and technical logs needed to keep the service secure.
Who can see it
- Public layer: other signed-in members, in the limited form you approved.
- Matchmaker layer: matchmakers approved by our team.
- Assignment layer: only matchmakers with an assignment you approved.
- Private and verification layers: the MazelTov verification team only.
What we never do
We do not sell personal information, we do not run advertising, and we do not share profiles with third parties for marketing. Profiles are excluded from search engines.
Retention
Active accounts keep their data until you delete it. When you close an account, profile data is removed from all member and matchmaker views immediately and deleted from our systems within thirty days, except where we must keep a limited record for safety or legal reasons.
Your rights
- Access and export the information held about you.
- Correct anything inaccurate, directly in your profile.
- Revoke a matchmaker's access at any time.
- Pause or delete your account.
- Ask us who has accessed a sensitive layer of your profile.
Security
Access is enforced at the database level, files are stored privately, sensitive actions are logged, and staff access is limited to the people whose role requires it.
